Oops!

No Excuses!

It has been forever since I have written in this blog, I would beg for forgiveness, but there isn't any excuse if you don't count working all the time and watching basketball when I'm not working! We have actually had some pretty exciting stuff happening for Miss Kinzi lately. She is currently being recruited for basketball by 11 colleges of all sizes. It looks like the race has been narrowed down to Boise State University, Gonzaga, or Western WA University in Bellingham. We visited Western last week and will be going on official visits to Boise State and Gonzaga probably toward the end of March. It is really exciting - she is really going to play college basketball! Sometimes I have to pinch myself to know it is really happening. Kinzi is so calm and collected about the whole thing - I'm glad 'cause her mom isn't! Her team is playing a district tournament game tonight in Ellensburg - if they lose they are finished - with a win they will have to win one more game to advance to the state tournament. The Boise State coaches are going to be there this evening, so we'll get to meet them in person. We have talked on the phone, and Jerry met one of the assistants briefly last week. Kinzi has been battling a horrible cold for about a week - she feels better now but her head is still full of yuck. She got hit in the nose on Thursday at her game - she said she had never seen so much blood at one time! She has a nice, swollen, jumbo-sized proboscis for a souvenir!
